Sonett Eco Household Cleaning Products
Sonett Washing Liquid 30ºC-95ºC Sonett for whites and coloureds. Especially recommended for hard water areas. Completely Biodegradable.
Sonett Ingredients: Soap from rape seed oil in parts organically grown*; Very high washing powder and stain-removing strength. Gentle and mild on your landry. Sugar surfactants and fatty alcohol sulphate: Produced from coconut oil, starch and natural sugar substances. Helps the soap devlop its full washing power and enhance its cleansing strength even in water having a high degree of hardness. Vegetable alcohol, Essential Lavender oil (100% Organically grown), balm additives.
Sugar surfactants and fatty alcohol sulphate are the easiest substances to decompose - next to soap - and are gentle to your skin. They work well with all degrees of water hard-ness, which makes this liquid detergent especially suitable for hard water. This detergent can also be used at cool settings.
SONETT SPECIAL PRODUCT FEATURES: Only with the MODULAR SYSTEM, with its separate dosage of the 3 main constituents of the detergent: - active washing substances; - softener; - bleaching complex; is it really possible to achieve an optimal utilization of the individual substances depending on the degree of soiling of the clothing, the hardness of the water and the entirely individual requirements according to the washing whiteness level. For a soap-based detergent, soft water is an absolute requirement. By means of the Modular System, the basis is therefore created to take advantage of the unequalled advantages of soap even with harder water. We avoid the use of anticaking agents, fillers, optical brighteners, phosphates and enzymes.

Sonett Bleaching Complex To bleach whites. To remove stains and discoloration from white and colourfast fabrics. To brighten yellowed and greyed fabrics. Sonett Bleaching Complex is effective from 50°C.
Use with Sonett Washing Powder, Sonett Washing Liquid and Sonett Water Softener as part of the Sonett Modular system.
Sonett Bleaching Complex can be added regularly to the white laundry. Very good for removing spots and stains from colourfast fabrics. During the washing process the sodium percarbonate is broken up into oxygen, water and soda.
Decomposition of the Sonett bleach complex takes place in the wash.
Application/Dosage: For a 5kg washing machine: Add 2-3 tablespoonfuls / 40 - 50ml of Sonett Bleaching Complex to the main wash cycle.
Individual stains on white linens can be treated specifically by spreading the powder on the stain after wetting the stain thoroughly. Allow it to take effect for a longer time, since the Sonett bleaching activity is substantially slower at temperatures below 50°C. It is also possible to soak items in Sonett Bleaching Complex.

Sonett Water Softener Binds the calcium dissolved in water, thus allowing the detergent to develop its full cleansing power.
Sonett Water Softener is free of synthetic complexing agents such as NTA and EDTA.
Use with Sonett Washing Powder, Sonett Washing Liquid and Sonett Bleaching Complex as part of the Sonett Modular system.
After determining the local water hardness it will be possible to use the exact amount of Sonett softener necessary to be combined with the basic detergent. In that way the detergent develops its full cleansing powers, the natural resources need not be unnecessarily abused and the water systems in our environment are protected to a maximum degree.
The precious olive oil is the best basis for soap that is mild and replenishes the wool fibres. This liquid soap is ideal for washing woollen and silk garments.
Application/Dosage:
5kg washing machine: Soft and medium hard water areas: 60ml. Hard and very hard water areas: 90ml.
Add the Sonett Olive Washing Liquid to the detergent compartment of the machine. Do not spray the Sonett detergent concentrate onto dried laundry. This could cause sensitive fabrics to be become discoloured.
Hand washing: Approx. 15 - 30 ml per 5l water.
Add the Sonett Olive Washing Liquid to the running water, then add the items of laundry. Only stir gently. Adjust the rinsing water to the temperature of the washing water to prevent temperature shock.
Add Sonett Laundry Rinse to the fabric softener compartment; freshens sensitive colours, helps the remaining detergent to rinse out better and smoothes fibres.
Much as the squirt of vinegar in the last rinse has proved useful for years, this Sonett laundry rinse removes the residue of the washing-agents, softens your laundry and brightens up the colours.
Sonett for coloureds, woollens and silks. Add to the final rinsing water. Sonett Laundry Rinse helps to rinse out remaining soap; freshens up colours, smoothes fibres and softens fabrics.

Sonett Washing-Up Liquid A Sonett hard water-insensitive, extremely economical agent for manual dishwashing.
Sonett Dishwasher Detergent is free from enzymes, phosphates and aggressive bleaching agents, yet cleans even very soiled dishes thoroughly.
Sonett Dishwasher Detergent uses a fine-grained powder concentrate. Only for dishwasher-safe crockery. Not suitable for silver, lead crystal and hand-painted porcelain.
Dosage: Depending on the degree of soiling: 1 - 2 tablespoonfuls per rinse cycle (1 tbsp.= approx. 15g). Important note to ensure good rinsing results: The Sonett Regenerating Salt and Sonett Clear Rinse compartments must always be kept full. Open the machine at the end of the program.
Sonett use alcohol and sugar surfactants reduce the surface tension of water and, thus, help remove water residues from your dishes effectively and thoroughly. Fat alcohol prevents excessive formation of foam, and citric acid binds residual calcium in the water. Particularly suitable for a high degree of water hardness.
Sonett Clear Rinse is suitable for all household dishwashing machines in combination with Sonett Washing Machine Liquid and Sonett Regenerating Salt.
The Sonett Clear Rinse is automatically added to the last rinse cycle and prevents lime stains on dishes, cutlery and glasses.
Dosage: Add the Sonett Clear Rinse to the rinse aid compartment of the dishwashing machine. The rinse aid compartment should always remain full. The setting, with a total of 6 steps, should be between 2 and 3 in normal cases. If a streaky coating forms on the dishes, this means that too much Sonett Clear Rinse is being added. If individual isolated white lime stains remain on the dishes, then the dosage of the Sonett Clear Rinse should be increased.
500ml Price: £3.42

Sonett Regenerating Salt Sonett Ingredients: natural pure salt. Sonett do not use anti-caking agents nor are synthetic dyes added.
An integral part of every dishwashing machine is an ion exchanger which traps the calcium and magnesium ions which cause hard water and feeds soft water into the machine. This is intended to prevent the development of limescale on glasses and cutlery. If the ion exchanger becomes saturated with calcium and magnesium ions, its absorptivity must be restored by means of regeneration. For this purpose, we use regenerating salt, which causes the exchange of the hardness ions and thus ensures optimal rinsing results.

2 L Sonett Unscented Liquid Detergent is sufficient for 27 washings in soft and medium hard water areas.
Product Declaration: Soap made from rape seed oil 5 - 15 % certified organically grown. Sugar surfactant 5 - 15 %. Coconut oil alcohol sulphate 5 - 15 %. Vegetable alcohol (ethanol) 1 5 %. Water up to 100 % swirled.
Origin and properties of the Unscented Ingredients: Soap, Sugar Surfactant and Coconut-Oil Alcohol Sulphate work together in a complementary and intensifying way in this liquid detergent. For the Soap, vegetable oil from certified organic cultivation is saponified using a special process using potassium hydroxide and no external heat input. Soap as an active washing substance embodies in a unique way all the properties required for the washing process: moistening, loosening and absorbing dirt. The effect of the Soap is intensified by the Sugar Surfactant and Coconut Oil Alcohol Sulphate. These 2 agents are derived from purely plant-based raw materials (sugar, starch and coconut oil) by chemical conversion using acids. At the same time, this combination eliminates the disadvantage of Soap, namely the formation of calcified soap, which can be deposited on the laundry if the softener dosage is not accurate. The Alcohol, which is derived from the fermentation of vegetable starch, helps keeping the detergent liquid and thus allows a high concentration of the wash-active ingredient.
Special Product Feature: The special energy-saving method of saponification, the use of oils from certified biological cultivation and an extremely favourable price/washing performance ratio for a unscented liquid detergent are the outstanding features of this product.
Technical Data: Density: (20°C), approx. 1,02 g/cm³ pH value: (20°C) ( 5 g/l H2O ) approx. 8.5 9.5 At temperatures below 10-15° C, the Sonett product changes and becomes somewhat thicker and opaque. This however disappears in warm conditions and after slightly shaking.
Ecology: Biodegradability: Soap made from vegetable oils has an outstanding feature compared to all other active washing substances. Immediately after use, it combines with the calcium (always present in the waste water) to form calcium soap and thus neutralizes itself in its surfactant effect on living organisms (Primary Degradation). The calcium soap is then rapidly 100 % degraded by microorganisms to carbon dioxide and water (Secondary Degradation). In the manufacturing process of Sugar Surfactants and Coconut Oil Alcohol Sulphate, ingredients are taken from the plant-based raw materials starch, sugar and fat; however, they completely retain their natural structure. It is therefore relatively easy for microorganisms to 100% decompose these surfactants. Soap, Sugar Surfactants and Coconut Oil Alcohol Sulphate are classified as readily biodegradable according to OECD guidelines.
To use: Sonett Dishwasher Tablets are suitable for all household dishwashing machines. Only for dishwasher-safe crockery. Not suitable for silver, lead crystal and hand-painted porcelain. To set the ion exchange in the dishwasher, refer to info sheet Sonett Dishwasher Detergent, Sonett Clear Rinse, Regenerating Salt.
Dosage: Dishes with a normal level of dirt: 1 Tablet per rinse cycle. Dishes with heavy dirt: 2 Tablets per rinse cycle. Important note to ensure good rinsing results: The Sonett Regenerating Salt and Sonett Clear Rinse compartments must always be kept full. Open the machine at the end of the program.
Origin and Properties of the Ingredients: The primary active ingredients of Sonett Tablets for dishwashing machines are sodium carbonate, silicates and sugar surfactants. Silicates are obtained by fusing sand with sodium carbonate and, due to their alkalinity, are capable of converting the grease on the dishes by saponification and making it water-soluble. Stuck-on food leftovers are soaked up and loosened by these silicates. Sodium carbonate, manufactured from common salt and lime, disperses the grease into fine droplets and thus supports the grease-loosening power of the silicates. The addition of small amounts of sugar surfactants causes a reduction in the surface tension of the water, so that the dirt can be more easily wetted by the water. Sugar surfactants are manufactured from coconut oil and vegetable starch or residual sugar from molasses. In addition, the Tablets contain bleaching oxygen (sodium percarbonate). During the rinse cycle, sodium percarbonate dissociates into water, sodium carbonate and oxygen. The released oxygen serves to remove tea and coffee residues from glasses and cups. Sodium percarbonate is a compound created from the absorption of hydrogen peroxide by soda (sodium carbonate). Citrate, obtained from the fermentation of sugar-containing byproducts, e.g. molasses, is added to the machine washing liquid to form compounds with the lime in the rinsing water and protect the machine from deposits. Due to the fact that, despite built-in ion exchangers (water-softening devices), many washing machines still inject water containing too much lime, the citrate is intensified by the lime-binding power of polyasparaginic acid. Polyasparaginic acid, a protein, occurs in nature, e.g. in the shells of mussels and snails, where it regulates shell growth. The polyasparaginic acid used is not, however, directly obtained from nature, but petrochemically synthesized in a closed manufacturing cycle, without additional waste products. Polyasparaginic acid is completely biodegradable.
Special Product Features: The Sonett Dishwasher Tablets contain minerals and completely biodegradable organic ingredients. Sonett Dishwasher Tablets contain no enzymes, no aggressive chlorinated bleaches, no phosphates and no fragrances.
Technical Data: 1 TAB corresponds to approx. 20g pH value: (20°C), (5 g/l H2O) approx. 10.5 Danger symbol: irritant. Keep out of the reach of children. Risk of serious eye injuries. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. In the event of contact with the eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of water and consult your doctor. If swallowed, immediately seek medical advice and show the packaging or label. Keep well-sealed and store in a dry place.
Ecology/Biodegradability: Silicates and Sodium Carbonate are mineral substances which do not need to be further degraded in nature. Citrate, a substance occurring in plants, animals and humans, is completely degraded by naturally occurring microorganisms within 2 - 3 days. Sodium percarbonate disintegrates during the washing and bleaching process itself into mineral soda, water and oxygen and therefore leaves the washing machine in a state which requires no further degradation, i.e. the bleaching process and the degradation process are one and the same. Polyasparaginic acid, a protein, is completely degraded in nature into water, carbon dioxide and nitrogenous salts. In the manufacturing process of sugar surfactant, constituents are taken from the plant-based raw materials starch, sugar and fat; however, they completely retain their natural structure. It is therefore relatively easy for microorganisms to 100% decompose these surfactants. Citrate, polyasparaginic acid and sugar surfactants are considered by the OECD to be slightly biodegradable.
Sonett Handsoap Neutral/Unscented: Special Product Feature: The oils in this Sonett hand soap come from 100% certified organic cultivation. The coconut oil comes from a Fair Trade project in the Dominican Republic. The olive oil is obtained from cooperatives in Spain, Italy and Greece.
Sonett Handsoap Neutral/Unscented: Ecology/Biodegradability: Soap from vegetable oils has the unrivalled property of forming a compound immediately after use with the lime which is always present in waste water. In this way, the soap neutralizes its own surfactant effect (primary degradation). This primary degradation occurs within a few hours. The calcium soap is then 100% degraded by microorganisms to carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). Besides the natural glycerin which is released during the saponification of the oils, we use vegetable glycerin which binds the skin moisture. Ethanol is reintegrated into the natural cycle within a few hours. In the manufacturing process of sugar surfactant, constituents are taken from the plant-based raw materials starch, sugar and fat; however, they completely retain their natural structure. It is therefore relatively easy for microorganisms to 100% decompose these surfactants. Soap and Sugar surfactants are classified as readily biodegradable according to OECD.

Sonett Olive Washing Liquid for Wool and Silk - Neutral/Unscented: Origin and properties of the ingredients: Olive Soap: The fruits come from century-old olive groves in the Mediterranean regions of Italy, Spain and Greece. By means of mechanical processes like pressing and centrifugation, the olive oil is extracted. When saponified with potassium hydroxide, it forms the main constituent of the Sonett Olive Washing Liquid for Wool and Silk. Olive oil is the best oil raw material for making mild soap and restoring the deficient protective hydrolipidic film. Its balanced fatty acid composition, curative balancing effect on the heart and circulatory system and the remarkable development of the olive tree on a 7-year cycle demonstrate the special proximity and relationship of this oil to humans. Rape Seed Oil soap: rape seed oil saponified with potassium hydroxide serves to increase the washing power. In addition to flax and sunflower, rapeseed is one of the few oil fruits which are cultivated for oil production in our temperate central European climate, also certified organically grown. Ethanol: It is derived from the fermentation of starch-containing plants such as maize and potatoes. Ethanol helps to keep the soap liquid, while at the same time improving the fat-solubility of the detergent. Sugar surfactant: Sugar, starch and coconut oil are the raw materials for the sugar surfactant used. The proportion of the sugar surfactant is adjusted to the soap content of the detergent so as to ensure that the calcium soap formed by hard water is distributed as finely as possible in the suspension and to prevent it from being deposited on the laundry.
Sonett Olive Washing Liquid for Wool and Silk - Neutral/Unscented: Special Product Features: In this product, high-grade pressed olive oil is processed into a soap which possesses excellent cleaning and nurturing properties and restores the deficient protective hydrolipidic film for woollen and silk fabrics. With the aid of the sugar surfactant, a mild soap-based detergent is created, which is easily manageable even with hard water, and retains all the positive properties of a soap detergent. The olive oil and rape seed oil are 100 % derived from certified organic cultivation.
Sonett Olive Washing Liquid for Wool and Silk - Neutral/Unscented: Technical Data: Density: (20°C), approx. 1.02 g/cm³ pH value: (20°C) ( 5g/l H2O ), approx. 8.5 9.5 At temperatures below 10° C, the product changes and becomes somewhat thicker and cloudy, but this disappears again in warm conditions and after light shaking if necessary.
Sonett Olive Washing Liquid for Wool and Silk - Neutral/Unscented: Ecology/Biodegradability : Soap made from vegetable oils has the outstanding feature of combining, immediately after use, with the calcium always present in the waste water to form calcium soap. Thus, within a few hours, the surfactant effect, harmful to aquatic organisms, is neutralized (primary degradation). The calcium soap is then 100% degraded by microorganisms to carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). Ethanol is infinitely miscible with water and is reintegrated into the natural cycle within a few hours. In the manufacturing process of sugar surfactants, constituents are taken from the plant-based raw materials starch, sugar and fat; however, they completely retain their natural structure. It is therefore relatively easy for microorganisms to 100% decompose these surfactants. Soap and sugar surfactants are classified as readily biodegradable according to OECD guidelines.
